India has become London’s third-largest international student market on the back of a record growth of over 34% in 2018-19, says the UK's Higher Education Statistics Agency data. This is the highest tally of Indian students in London since 2011-12. Experts feel the current spike may be due to the UK’s recent changes in visa norms that allow overseas students to stay for a longer time to seek employment.
